George M Carroll Transportation, Inc offers a CDL Path Program where you can work as a School Bus Aide while you train for your CDL. The program includes free CDL training, behind-the-wheel instruction, and support from experienced trainers, with midday sessions designed around your aide schedule.

Starting as a School Bus Aide you will earn $16.00 per hour during monitor hours, with Driver pay rates of $26.00–$28.50 per hour after earning your CDL.

Qualifications

• Complete employment application and new hire paperwork.
• Pass all required background screenings.
• Provide valid identification and three professional references.
• Submit residential history as required.
• Pass a company-paid physical examination.
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening.
• Successfully complete required background investigations.
• Climb and descend bus steps; move quickly from a seated position.
• Operate emergency exits when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers according to established schedules and routes.
• Help maintain a safe and positive environment for passengers.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school personnel, and coworkers.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately.

What You'll Receive

Free CDL Training

• The company provides classroom instruction to help you obtain your CDL Permit.
