Schmitty & Sons Holding in Lake Elmo, MN is seeking School Bus Aides to greet students, help with seating, ensure seat belts are fastened, and provide extra care to riders with special needs, in partnership with School Bus Drivers to keep everyone safe.

This part-time role requires morning and afternoon shifts, a drug test and background check, English literacy, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday (Part-Time).
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Able to tell time and keep a timely schedule
• Read, write, and speak in English
• Make quick, safe decisions with minimal supervision
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player

Responsibilities

• Greet students, help them find seats, ensure seat belts are fastened, provide extra care to students with special needs, monitor student behavior, reinforce rules and regulations.
• Work in partnership with School Bus Drivers to ensure students are transported safely to and from school.
