WE Transport LLC is seeking a part-time School Bus Monitor in Bridgeport, CT. You will assist students getting on/off the bus and ensure proper use of seat belts and car seats while following safety protocols.

The role includes classroom and on-the-job training and requires clear English communication with students, parents, teachers, and staff. Shifts run roughly 5:30am–9:00am and 1:00pm–5:00pm, totaling 20–25 hours weekly, with benefits such as a 401(k) option, dental, vision, and company-paid

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• Ability to pass a background check (CORI/SORI) and drug screen.
• Effective spoken and written English communication.

Responsabilités

• Safely assist students as needed and help them enter/exit the vehicle.
• Ensure students are secured with lap and shoulder belts and car seats as required.
• Monitor student behavior and report unsafe or inappropriate behavior to management.
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, teachers, and Van Pool staff.
• Demonstrate ability to install car seats and booster seats.
• Follow written and verbal directions from supervisors and work with school-age children with special needs.
