Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a School Bus Aide to assist students boarding and riding buses, ensuring their safety from pickup to destination. The role supports the Driver to maintain focus on driving while providing a secure, welcoming environment for children.

Competitive pay starts at $17.68/hour with opportunities for benefits and a flexible schedule to balance life and work commitments. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive student interactions across our transportation

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years old.
  • Available from 6 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday with a mid-day break.

Responsibilities

  • Help the Driver focus on driving the assigned vehicle.
  • Greet students in a pleasant manner.
  • Help students as necessary.
  • Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination.
  • Perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty.
  • Always maintain a safe environment on the bus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Guarantee a minimum of 25 hours per week.
