Job summary

Amergis is hiring Behavior Technicians to facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs. You will collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Pediatric experience is preferred, and CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior plans and educational curricula.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
