Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Behavior Aide in Burt, NY to support students with special needs in a school setting. This contract, full-time role involves 32.5 hours per week with pay at $23 per hour, contributing to education and behavioral goals.

The candidate will work with teachers and specialists to implement plans, monitor progress, and help create a positive learning environment for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
