NorthKey Community Care is hiring School-Based Mental Health Counselors and Therapists to deliver behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and families in partner schools across Northern Kentucky, primarily Pendleton and Grant Counties. Options include full-time year-round or summers off with salary adjustments.

The role involves individual and group therapy, crisis assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with school staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a clinical field related to behavioral health.
  • Eligibility for Kentucky independent or non-independent license is required.
  • Must have or be eligible for one of the Kentucky licenses: LCSW, CSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, MFT, LPAT, CADC, LCADC, LPA, PhD, or PsyD.
  • Graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and families in school or outpatient settings.
  • Provide crisis assessment and therapy for children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and symptoms.
  • Maintain multi-disciplinary relationships with clinicians, school staff, and related professionals.
  • Complete timely documentation including progress notes, assessments, and schedules.
  • Participate in staff development opportunities for professional growth.
  • Maintain license, certification, and program performance skills.

Job description

NorthKey Community Care is seeking School-Based Mental Health Counselors and Therapists to provide behavioral health therapy to children, adolescents, and families in partner schools in Northern Kentucky, primarily in Pendelton and Grant County Schools.This position can be full-time year-round or there is an option for Summer's OFF (with changes to salary).

PERKS & PAY
  • Non-Independently Licensed Pay– Up to annual salary of $60,000for full-time. This position is also eligible for monthly incentives based on monthly billable hours. Salary may be adjusted if working less than full time and/or having summers off.
  • Independently Licensed Pay– Up to annual salary of $75,000for full-time. This position is also eligible for monthly incentives based on monthly billable hours. Salary may be adjusted if working less than full time and/or having summers off.
  • Potential for up to 12% annual contingency bonus
  • Generous plan for paid time off (PTO) (Up to 16 days the first year)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree or above in a clinical field of study related to behavioral health.

JOB DUTIES
  • Provide individual and group behavioral health therapy services for children, adolescents, and families in a school and/or outpatient office setting.
  • Provide behavioral health crisis assessment and therapy services to children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for clients based upon clients' areas of need, diagnoses, and symptoms.
  • Maintain multi-disciplinary working relationships with other clinicians, mental health therapists and counselors, school personnel, and other related professionals in the community.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation including progress notes, assessments, reports, schedules, and other material required.
  • Fully participate in staff development opportunities offered to enhance professional growth.
  • Maintain license, certification, and/or identified program performance skills.
