Job summary

Devereux Florida Counseling Center is seeking a School-Based Therapist to join our team. This Independent Contractor role supports school aged clients through individual, family, and group sessions, with in-person work at schools around Volusia County and virtual options as needed.

The position requires a Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology, and Florida license eligibility. You will participate in supervision hours for licensure, complete required documentation, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology is required.
• Must be license eligible in Florida.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Background and medical screenings: Drug Test and TB Test.
• Level 2 background screening as per Florida requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy in school settings.
• Develop and implement the individualized master treatment plan for each client.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, review goals and progress, and complete clinical documentation.
• Travel to schools within Volusia County for in-person sessions and virtual coordination with CBCs and DCF.
