Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services is seeking a School Based Therapist to join Avondale HS and surrounding community in the Phoenix area. The role delivers solution-focused and strength-based services to youth, with office space in the school and some home/community visits.

You will conduct intakes, assessments, treatment planning, individual counseling and case management, collaborating with school staff and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health is required.
• 1 year full-time behavioral health experience preferred.
• Fingerprint clearance by Arizona DPS or eligibility within eight weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy and clinical case management for a full caseload of students and/or families.
• Develops and maintains intakes, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation per SBH clinical standards.
• Collaborates with school administrators, social workers, and teachers to meet client needs.
• Coordinates community resources with clinical staff and other human service professionals.
• Leads psychosocial education groups and implements prevention programs.
