Community Counseling Center (CCC) is hiring School-Based Therapists to provide clinical therapy to children and adolescents, identified through school staff, and to assist with CPR referrals and multi-disciplinary planning. The role involves close collaboration with school staff to support each client’s needs within a coordinated treatment framework.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, coordination with schools, treatment planning with families, and liaison work with community resources.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• LMSW, PLPC, LCSW, or LPC eligibility; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health services and referrals, including consent to treat and releases of confidential information.
• Coordinate services between schools and Community Counseling Center (CCC).
• Create and maintain a calendar with daily therapeutic activities.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and all chart requirements, involving family in treatment planning.
• Act as a liaison between CCC and community resources.
• Follow up on no-show appointments and coordinate services with other providers.
• Participate in on-call schedule rotation as agreed with supervisor and director.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures per agency standards.
• Transport clients as needed to meet program requirements.

• Provisionally Licensed (LMSW or PLPC): $50,620 minimum annually and additional depending on experience
• Fully Licensed (LCSW or LPC): $53,120 minimum and additional depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field
• LMSW, PLPC, LCSW, LPC (or eligible - new graduate encouraged to apply)
• Must hold Valid Driver's License (Class E for Missouri or Class D for IL Residents - Obtain on start date) and current continuous auto insurance.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing clinical therapy to children and adolescents based on clinical need as identified by school staff. Additionally, School-Based Therapists help in identifying who may qualify for the CPRC program and make necessary referrals for clients, as well as their families. The School-Based Therapist regularly consults with school staff in developing a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting the client's needs.

Job Duties:

• Provide direct mental health services and referrals to include consent to treat, releases of confidential information, and completed CCC packet.
• Coordinate services between the schools and CCC.
• Create and maintain a calendar with daily therapeutic activities.
• Complete treatment plans, progress notes, DLA-20, updates, and all chart requirements. Involve family and school in treatment planning, working with the family system to facilitate the needs of the child.
• Act as a liaison between agency and community resources.
• Follow up on no show appointments.
• Coordinate services with other providers internally and externally.
• Participate in the on-call schedule rotation as agreed upon by SBT Supervisor and Director of Outpatient and Emergency Services.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
• Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
