Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a vibrant elementary school setting near Inglewood and Torrance, CA. You will collaborate with educators and families to support student growth and transition duties from the current SLP.

The position offers a 37.5-hour week (Mon–Fri) with a flexible caseload and opportunities to impact young learners through IEP development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language pathology or related field.
• Active state licensure in California or eligibility.

Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant elementary school setting. Youll step into an established program, facilitating a smooth transition of duties from the current SLP.

Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours each week, enabling you to maintain a balanced work-life rhythm. The caseload is flexible, giving you the ability to tailor your focus and interventions for optimal student growth. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting IEP assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and working alongside other school professionals to support student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates will be considered
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
