Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) | School-Based | Las Vegas, NV AreaPosition Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support students in a growing K–8 educational setting in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with communication needs through assessment, therapy services, collaboration, and individualized support. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and committed to helping students achieve academic and personal success.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with teachers, families, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to provide services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Assessment & Therapy Services
  • Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with communication needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to student IEPs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and needs.
  • Track student progress and adjust services using data-driven decision-making.
IEP & Documentation Responsibilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Develop, review, and update speech and language goals for students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to evaluations, therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage assigned caseload responsibilities while ensuring timely completion of required documentation.
Collaboration & Consultation
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, administrators, and support staff.
  • Provide recommendations and strategies to support student communication development in classroom environments.
  • Support inclusive educational practices and appropriate accommodations.
  • Partner with families to help them understand student needs and communication strategies.
Position Details
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV area
  • Setting: School-based (K–8)
  • Schedule: Part-time opportunity (approximately 2–3 days per week)
  • Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Caseload: Small, manageable caseload with potential growth
  • Assignment Duration: Through December 2026, with potential opportunity for extension
QualificationsRequired
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Nevada SLP licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Ability to complete required background checks and onboarding requirements
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and school-based service delivery
Preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Experience working with K–8 students
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needsStrong collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Compensation for this position ranges from $42.95 to $62.95.
