Job summary

The Menta Group in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time, school-based role aligned to IEPs. You will provide services to students, collaborate with educators, and maintain related records according to the school calendar.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in SLP, an IDFPR license, and CCC preferred, CFY welcomed. This position offers 10 months of work with pay, and potential for continued hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Current SLP license issued by IDFPR.
• CCC certification preferred; CFY welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students, in groups and individually, monitoring behavior to ensure that it aligns with programmatic expectations.
• Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration & emotional upset.
• Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.
• Provide Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.
• Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
• Compensated Intrastate Travel Required.
