The position requires a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, state licensing eligibility, and strong documentation skills for IEPs/IFSPs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
• Experience evaluating and treating communication disorders in students aged birth to 21 years.
• Experience working with professionals and with parents, including counseling and training.
• Excellent oral and written communication and human-relations skills.
• Strong writing and organizational skills for concise clinical reports, IEPs/IFSPs, and longitudinal records.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and provide services to students with articulation, voice, language, or fluency disorders that affect educational performance.
• Consult with teachers and parents, and participate in IEP team meetings.
• Attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as required by the MCEA agreement.
