Job summary

PHOENIX PXU UNION, the Phoenix Union High School District, seeks multiple Speech and Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year. The SLPs will diagnose and intervene for students with speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them access the general education curriculum.

Positions are district-wide with a 9-month work year. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in SLP, AZ licensure, ASHA CCC, and prior school-based

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience working with youth in the school setting preferred; knowledge of IEP development.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Screens and evaluates students; communicates results to parents and staff.
• Develops and implements IEPs for students who qualify for services.
