Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assess students' communication skills to identify disorders and determine eligibility.
• Develop and implement speech-language goals in IEPs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to parents.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate goals.
• Maintain student data to monitor progress and service continuation or termination.
• Instruct students in use of communication technologies (hearing aids, FM systems).
• Contribute to RTI processes at the local school level as needed.
• Report information for local, state, and federal programs.
