Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary and middle school students under supervision of a licensed SLP.

This full-time assignment offers immediate interviews and the chance to contribute to IEP-related goals across multiple campuses while collaborating with teachers and families to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent is required.
• Valid SLPA certification for Texas is required.
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and varying caseloads.
• Organized, self-motivated and eager to collaborate with supervising SLPs and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support IEPs for students in elementary and middle school.
• Assist with developing materials and activities tailored to student goals.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
