Job summary

Hamilton County Educational Service Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, has a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opening with a $5,000 signing bonus.

The role identifies and provides services for students with communication disorders. Responsibilities include screenings, assessments, developing IEPs, collaborating with educators, and staying current with evidence-based practices. Travel to multiple locations is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Ohio Department of Education Certification/Licensure/Registration in speech-language pathology.
• Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board License.
• Must be able to travel to various locations on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, diagnostic assessments, and interventions to identify students with speech and language disabilities.
• Implement district, state and federal guidelines in practice.
• Develop, implement, manage and progress monitor IEPs for students with communication disorders.
• Communicate and collaborate with educational team members and stakeholders.
• Adhere to policies and procedures of Hamilton County ESC.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in evidence-based practices, maintain licensure, and improve job performance.
• Provide information and consultation to parents and school staff about communication development and remediation strategies.
• Manage workload as needed for each assignment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Ohio Department of Education Certification/Licensure/Registration in speech-language pathology

Ability to travel to various locations daily
