Qualifications for a Speech‑Language Pathologist

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA certification
• State Speech Language Pathology License

Every state requires all Speech Language Pathologists to have a state license. If you do not have a license for a specific state, the licensing team at PDS will help you through the process!

A Day in the Life of a Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide high‑quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans. Conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports, you determine their strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
