Qualifications
Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
Valid license as a speech-language pathologist or Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.
One year of supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Conduct independent evaluations and provide individual and group therapy to students.
Develop clinical management strategies and participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee.
Consult with colleagues, students, and parents regarding therapy goals.
Skills
Ability to use accepted tests to assess communication disorders
Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders
Ability to instruct and manage student behavior

Education
