Qualifications

• Arizona Teacher Certificate with speech licensure eligibility.
• IVP fingerprint clearance card through AZ DPS.

Responsibilities

• DIAGNOSIS: Examine and plan remedial services for speech and language disorders.
• REMEDIATION: Provide remedial services for speech disorders.
• LESSON PLANS: Maintain a daily instruction plan book based on IEPs.
• OBJECTIVES: Establish well-defined objectives for each lesson and related projects.
• INSTRUCTION: Instruct speech handicapped students in development of speech habits.
• CONSULTATION: Advise teachers, parents, and students on support techniques for social and psychological adjustment.
• COMPLIANCE: Develop IEPs and maintain records for compliance with PL 94-142.
