Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in the school setting. You will evaluate communication disorders, design therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to promote meaningful outcomes for children.

This role includes delivering evidence-based services, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with ASHA standards and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
• ASHA certification is required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication disorders, design therapy plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and therapists to promote meaningful outcomes for children.
• Provide high-quality therapy services and document progress according to IEPs/504 plans.
• Maintain compliance with ASHA standards and state licensure while delivering evidence-based services.

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA certification
• State Speech Language Pathology License

Every state requires all Speech Language Pathologists to have a state license. If you do not have a license for a specific state, the licensing team at PDS will help you through the process!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will spend your day helping improve the lives of children. Setting them up for success both in the school setting and beyond is meaningful work that builds a rewarding career!

You will provide high-quality services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans. Conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports, you determine their strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
