Job description

School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Position: School Speech Language Pathologist. Pay range: $65-75/hr. Full-time. 2025/2026 School Year. In-person. School sites located within Coachella Valley, CA.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
  • Complete Evaluations & Treatments
  • Attend or complete IEP meetings
  • Communicate/Consult with team members regarding student progress
  • Record evaluations, complete daily treatment notes, complete attendance logs
  • Report writing
  • IEP writing
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our clients
  • Experience with working with children with a variety of disorders and deficits including but not limited to language, articulation, fluency, and Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Able to be highly flexible and agile
  • Able to be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven
Licensing/Credential And/or Education Requirements
  • Master\'s degree from an accredited speech language pathology program
  • Current and unrestricted licensure by the California Board of Speech Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensers to work in the state of California
  • If relocating to California and licensure is in process or will be in process, this is OK
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • CFs and new grads are welcome to apply
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time. Physical abilities include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 25 pounds. Stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, field of vision.
