Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking School Based Support Specialists to provide on-site intervention in Southwest Missouri schools, collaborating with school staff to support clients in treatment plans and daily living tasks.

You will monitor client progress, develop individualized treatment plans, advocate for clients, connect them with community resources, and participate in professional growth within a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in one of the listed fields or related human services degree.
  • Four years of qualifying experience minimum or a combination of education and experience equaling four years required.
  • QAP certifications are acceptable credentials for qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Intervention and collaboration: Provide on-site intervention in area schools with staff to ensure client care.
  • Progress monitoring: Track client progress to inform treatment plans and strategies.
  • Individualized treatment plans: Develop tailored plans considering client goals and circumstances.
  • Client support and advocacy: Help clients access services and daily living tasks while advocating for their interests.
  • Community engagement: Connect clients with community resources for ongoing support and growth.
