Job summary

Ampersand Therapy in Monument, CO seeks Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for school-based roles serving K-12 students. You will provide speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, contributing to students' communication skills and classroom success.

Qualifications

  • Active Colorado SLPA license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Colorado CDE authorization/certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP.
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals.
  • Implement therapy plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP.
  • Collect data and maintain therapy documentation and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams.
  • Assist with preparing therapy materials and supporting student engagement.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school documentation requirements.
