Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year in Lakewood, WA. This in-person, W-2 position supports students in public school districts with direct SLPA services.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, supporting IEPs, and collaborating with supervising SLPs while adhering to district and state guidelines. WA licensure and 100 clinical hours are required.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State DOH SLPA license (or willingness to obtain immediately).
• Completion of 100 clinical hours.
• Completion of an SLPA program or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Must complete fingerprinting/background check prior to start.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students.
• Support implementation of IEPs and complete documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and the school special education team.
• Deliver services in compliance with district and state guidelines.
