Qualifications

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current VA SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in clients of all ages.
• Use standardized tests and observations to inform diagnoses.
• Create individualized, measurable treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and disorders.
• Counsel clients and families on communication needs and progress.
• Train individuals in assistive communication technologies.
• Screen for risk of speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures
