Job summary

Baltimore County Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment and therapy for students in the school setting. The SLP will collaborate with families, teachers, and administrators to support language development and curriculum access.

The role requires developing IEP/IFSP goals, using assistive technology, and producing timely assessment and progress reports while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland SLP license required.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention and assessment for speech-language needs.
• Consult with school staff and families on language development and its connection to the curriculum.
• Participate in school-based teams for students with speech-language needs.
• Develop and implement goals for IEPs/IFSPs/Service Plans linked to documented needs.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate records.
