Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist in Golden, CO. The role involves providing school-based SLP services in person during the school day and aligning with the academic calendar.

The candidate will evaluate and treat students for language, articulation, pragmatics, and other speech disorders, write IEPs, and ensure compliance with state and federal policies. A Master’s degree and CO SLP license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• 2+ years of experience with speech language assessments for students eligible for special education.
• Must live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat students with language, pragmatics, articulation, functional communication, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Utilize current assessment instruments to determine a student's skills and abilities and provide developmentally appropriate intervention.
• Write educationally-based IEPs and ensure educational relevance in assessments and services.
• Follow state/federal compliance such as IEP development, Medicaid billing, report writing, and therapy log documentation.
• Communicate evaluation results at evaluation meetings.
