Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting to evaluate students and provide therapy services according to each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

The role emphasizes completing documentation, collaborating with educators, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements; contract full-time, on-site in a school environment, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
