Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract–full-time role in Jacksonville, FL, serving students in a school setting. The SLP will perform evaluations and provide and document therapy services per plan of care and physician orders.

Requirements include active SLP licensure in FL, CCC-SLP preferred, and compliance with professional standards. The role includes 38 hours/week at $62/hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care and physician orders.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student goals.
