Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role in Varnville, SC for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide speech-language therapy to students in a K-12 setting, supporting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.

You will conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop IEP goals and therapy plans while collaborating with teachers and families to ensure skill carryover.

Qualifications

  • Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
  • South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
  • Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
  • Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
  • Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
