Qualifications

• Hold valid Oregon Teaching Certification in Communication Disorder (masters/doctorate or other recognized post-baccalaureate degree).
• Experience providing direct consultation and services to children with communication disorders in a public school setting.
• Collaborative team player with demonstrated competency in the field.

Responsibilities

• Assist SLPAs in developing goals for achieving and evaluating skills and knowledge.
• Oversee services and data collection and monitor progress of therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams for assessments to determine intervention strategies or eligibility for services.
• Conduct thorough, appropriate and balanced speech and language assessments using a comprehensive plan.
