Qualifications

• Requires Assistant License and/or SLP Assistant Clinical Deficiency Plan.
• Bachelor degree with emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, or a Bachelor degree in another area.
• 25 hours of clinical observation.
• 25 hours of clinical assisting experience.
• 24 semester hours in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with at least 18 hours in the area in which the applicant is applying.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a licensed Speech Pathologist.
• Provide direct and consultative treatment to school-age students.
• Maintain clinical reports and prepare clinical materials.
• Participate with the licensed Speech Pathologist in research projects, staff development, public relations programs, or similar activities.
