Job summary

ProCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a school-based contract near Shawnee, KS. This full-time role delivers one-on-one student care with a consistent 37.5-hour week, within a supportive educational environment.

You will collaborate with staff and families, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and maintain thorough documentation per standards. Join a team focused on safe, healthy learning and lasting student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Kansas or compact state).
• Experience or interest in K-12 school environments.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to student care.
• Strong communication with staff, students and families.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to adapt care plans for evolving student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one nursing care for a student per an individualized health plan.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Respond promptly to healthcare emergencies and communicate observations.
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation per school and regulatory standards.
• Support student well-being and a positive school experience.
