Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one on one with a student in the school setting in Illinois. The role runs Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with an hourly pay range of $35–$38 and involves direct nursing care for students with complex medical needs, including Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizures, and diabetic care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, a current health certificate, recent PPD or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
