Position Overview

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is assembling the team it will propose to Anne Arundel County Public Schools for the district's Behavioral and Mental Health Residency Model, and is selecting eight Registered Behavior Technicians for it. Team members are named in our proposal with their resumes and credentials, and positions begin on contract award.

The residency places a multidisciplinary team of two BCBAs, eight Registered Behavior Technicians and a licensed mental health provider in twelve elementary schools. The schools serve high acuity students, with and without disabilities, who show significant social, emotional, behavioral and mental health needs.

You work in your assigned elementary schools, during the school day, under the supervision of the team's BCBAs. You carry each student's plan through real routines: the classroom, the hallway, the cafeteria, recess, arrival and dismissal. Your BACB supervision comes from the team you work with every day.

  • Experience working with children with significant behavioral needs.
  • Compliance with BACB supervision requirements. Supervision is provided by the team's BCBAs.

  • A current resume and copies of your credentials, which CLFC submits to the district with its proposal.

  • School-based experience, especially in elementary grades.
  • Experience supporting students with autism or emotional and behavioral disabilities.
  • Crisis prevention and de-escalation training.
  • Experience collecting behavioral data for a BCBA.
  • Coursework or a degree in psychology, education or a related field.
Compensation and Engagement Details
  • $26.00 to $32.00 per hour. Where you land in the range reflects experience and school-based background.
