Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our school-based team in Kent, WA. This full-time role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students improve mobility, independence, and participation in the educational setting while working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Washington state PTA license.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities and developmental needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support students with diverse physical needs under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist students with transfers, mobility, positioning, and use of specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with special education staff and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
