Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist for a school-based role in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The position focuses on in-person evaluations and therapy to support mobility and participation for students in the school setting.

You will write IEPs, progress notes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, teachers, and families to ensure student success throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Licensure in Michigan required or eligible for NC licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan (or eligible)
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for students (pediatric caseload)
• Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation
• Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success
