Job summary

Club Xcite in Calabasas, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a school-based role for the 2026-2027 year. This on-site position supports students across multiple districts with 30 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

The PT will provide direct services aligned with IEP goals, assess mobility and access, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families. California licensure and a DPT are required, with school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy license.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Experience working with students or youth in school-based, pediatric, or clinical settings.
• Ability to work onsite (no remote roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
• Support student mobility, posture, strength, balance, and access to the educational environment.
• Conduct physical therapy assessments and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success.
• Consult with school staff regarding orthopedic, mobility, and environmental access needs.
• Recommend, monitor, and support adaptive equipment and assistive technology needs.
• Train school staff on transfers, positioning, mobility supports, and body mechanics.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school-based and state requirements.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
