Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based therapy services for students in a K-12 setting. The role emphasizes improving gross motor skills and functional mobility within an educational environment.

The ideal candidate will have pediatric or school-focused experience, collaborate with teachers and families, and support IEP goals while adhering to district guidelines and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Educational/Teacher Certification if required by the state Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students' gross motor and physical development related to accessing the educational curriculum.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to address each student's unique needs.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote carryover of therapy goals across settings.
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with school district guidelines and state practice regulations.
