Job summary

Family of Kidz seeks an Occupational Therapist for school-age evaluations in Ellenville, NY. This part-time, fee-for-service role offers flexible scheduling during the school day with potential FT opportunities and competitive compensation per evaluation.

Start ASAP with ongoing collaboration with lead supervisors. The role requires NY OT licensure and a passion for helping children and families, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
