Job summary

The Judge Group is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Paraprofessionals, Instructional Aides, and Special Education Support Staff for school-based opportunities throughout Delaware County, PA, including Aston, Boothwyn, Chester, and surrounding communities.

These full-time roles follow a Monday–Friday schedule during school hours and involve one-on-one or small-group support, assisting with academics, behavior, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in school-based, special education, behavioral health, autism support, childcare, or direct care is a plus.
• Experience providing one-on-one support is preferred.
• Ability to remain patient and professional with students who may display challenging behaviors.
• Must be dependable and maintain a consistent school-week schedule.
• Must be willing to complete required school clearances and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students
• Assist students with classroom assignments and daily activities
• Support students with special education, autism, behavioral, or emotional needs
• Reinforce positive behaviors and provide redirection when needed
• Assist teachers and other school staff with classroom activities
• Follow student IEPs and individualized support plans
• Support students with social, communication, and daily living skills
• Monitor and document student progress or behaviors as required
• Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, or mobility, when applicable
• Maintain student confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
