Achievement Rehabilitation Through Therapeutic Intervention, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative team in Citrus County, Florida. The role supports students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills within the school setting.

The position offers part-time or full-time options with a 1,400-hour annual workload and weekday schedules. Opportunities to work in outpatient clinics during school breaks are available based on need.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with children and helping students reach their fullest potential.
• School-based or pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and therapy professionals.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapy services to students in individual and small group settings.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory regulation, self-care, and classroom participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to help students achieve their educational goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements.
• Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary educational team.
