Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services in Royalton, Vermont is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for a full-time role to support students in a public school setting for the 2026-2027 school year.

The OT will provide services in a K-12 school environment, conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and deliver direct therapy while collaborating with teachers and SPED staff. An active VT OT license and OT degree are required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Vermont OT license is required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small groups).
• Support students with fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, executive functioning, and ADLs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
