Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing, LLC is seeking a bright and talented Occupational Therapist to provide education-based therapy services to students in Charleston for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week in a school setting, operating under the school calendar.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating evidence-based plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, attending IEP meetings, and maintaining compliant documentation. SC OT licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each student’s goals.
• Provide therapeutic services to improve daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory processing, and school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate occupational therapy strategies into classroom and educational activities.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and recommendations to support student success.
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting intervention plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through research and professional development.
