Job summary

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts OTA license is required.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric/school-based therapy is preferred.
• Experience leading groups and collaborating with classroom teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead occupational therapy groups addressing fine motor, sensory-motor, self-care, and functional independence.
• Provide individual occupational therapy interventions under supervision of the OT.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse developmental needs.
• Collaborate with therapists, teachers, and related-service staff across settings.
• Consult with classroom teams to promote participation and independence.
• Collect and document data on participation and progress toward goals.
• Prepare therapy materials and schedule sessions.
• Participate in meetings and ongoing program planning.
