Job summary

Washington Elementary School District 6 in Glendale, AZ seeks an Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, plan, and administer individual or group therapy for students with special needs. Qualifications

• Two years experience as an occupational or physical therapist; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (AZ IVP FPCC).

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and measurements to evaluate students and set goals.
• Supervises therapy assistants and aides.
• Consults with physicians and health professionals for referrals.
• Develops and implements written educational plans and home programs.
• Provides in-service training to staff and parents.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature.
