Job summary

Bond Health in New York is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluation and therapy services for students. The role focuses on improving independence, functional abilities, and participation in educational activities, with collaboration among families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will develop individualized treatment plans, deliver OT services aligned with IFSPs and IEPs, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide OT services in accordance with IFSPs and IEPs.
• Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, evaluations, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and parent consultations.
• Recommend referrals and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
• Assist with evaluations, intake, and ongoing student support.
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
• Supervise OT students or Occupational Therapy Assistants as applicable.
