Job summary

The Occupational Therapist at Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools will evaluate students' fine motor and sensory motor development, write IEP goals based on evaluations, and plan and implement treatment to meet goals across multiple campuses in Kansas City, MO.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists, supports accessibility, identifies barriers, and may supervise COTAs; Missouri license required; bachelor's degree; master preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related area.
• Missouri License to Practice Occupational Therapy is required.
• Master degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' fine motor and sensory motor development.
• Write IEP goals based on evaluations and plan/implement treatment.
• Identify barriers and provide recommendations for accessibility and placement.
• Provide direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to coordinate services.
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes.
